I hope the winter treated you well.

Last year many lake residents were concerned about loon nests being
destroyed by high water levels and boat traffic in June. If you would like
to learn how to build a floating loon nesting platform, check out the
association web site www.dlai.ca and find Loon Nesting Platform link under the Stewardship Categoy.
Please let me know (judy@dlai.ca )if you build a platform and if you have success
attracting loons.

Our lake will take part in the Lake Loon Survey so please contact me at
judy@dlai.ca if you would like to volunteer for this survey.
